We present to you another one of the mentors at "Vratsa Mathematics Academy"! Meet Nina Racheva - a student from the XIth grade who combines ambition, curiosity and orderliness with fine sensitivity and attention to detail.
Author: Таня Стефанова | 18.02.2026✨ Nina describes herself as an organized and purposeful person who likes to look for meaning and development in everything she does. Her curiosity drives her forward, and her sensitivity helps her better understand the people around her, especially the children she works with. ➡️ Her desire to become a mentor comes from the desire to share her experience and knowledge. For Nina, teaching is not just imparting information, but an opportunity to support another person on their way to understanding and confidence. The most important value she shares with her students is the belief that there is no unrewarded work. She believes that effort always pays off, even when it doesn't happen right away. Nina encourages children not to give up on the way to their goals and to accept difficulties as part of the growing process. To anyone who starts working in this field, Nina gives clear and honest advice: Be persistent and do not give up. Persistence is what makes the difference between temporary setbacks and real progress. How does she want her students to remember her? As someone who showed them that mathematics is not as inaccessible as it seems at first glance. As a mentor who has helped them believe in themselves and realize that they are capable of overcoming the challenges before them, even when the results require time and patience. And outside of mathematics, Nina likes to read, play the piano, spend time with her close people and work on her own improvement. It is this balance between knowledge, art and personal development that helps her to be an inspiring and sustainable example for her students.❓ And what do you think is more important for success - talent or perseverance?
